Getting started

  1. Pick your magnetStart with 60 to 75 mm. Single-sided for wharves and bridges, double-sided for casting from the bank.
  2. Rig it properly20 to 30 m of braided rope, a locking carabiner, and threadlocker on the eyebolt.
  3. Drop or throwOff a wharf, drop straight down and bounce along the bottom. From a bank, cast underarm and drag back slowly.
  4. Pull steady, not hardWhen it sticks, pull slowly and wiggle side to side. Use the snag hook for big finds.
  5. Leave it cleanerBring a bucket and take every bit of scrap home.
