Getting started
- Pick your magnetStart with 60 to 75 mm. Single-sided for wharves and bridges, double-sided for casting from the bank.
- Rig it properly20 to 30 m of braided rope, a locking carabiner, and threadlocker on the eyebolt.
- Drop or throwOff a wharf, drop straight down and bounce along the bottom. From a bank, cast underarm and drag back slowly.
- Pull steady, not hardWhen it sticks, pull slowly and wiggle side to side. Use the snag hook for big finds.
- Leave it cleanerBring a bucket and take every bit of scrap home.
